At Houston Monterrey Door LLC. (“Houston Monterrey Door”) our mission is to provide customers with superior quality artisanal iron doors, windows and related products we design, manufacturer and sell. Please review these Terms and Conditions. Your review of these terms constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by them.
Houston Monterrey Door reserves the right to cancel any order without liability for any product displayed on the Site that is no longer available or being offered at the price listed. Houston Monterrey Door LLC reserves the right to cancel any order without liability where we believe an incorrect or fake billing or shipping address has been provided. Houston Monterrey Door reserves the right to cancel any order without liability where we believe incorrect or fraudulent credit card information has been provided. Houston Monterrey Door will advise you if your order is canceled. Customers cannot cancel an order once the ordered product has gone into production. There are no cancellations of orders for custom-made doors.
INSTALLATION: Houston Monterrey Door Provides remodeling of Iron doors; but is not responsible for trash removal, a trash fee of $50 or more will applied to invoice. Door replacements consist of removal of existing door(s) and replacement of new Iron Door(s) but not for the wood beam/ header/ brick/ stucco/ molding electrical or security system. Client is responsible for any items removed from the property, remodeling dust, and sheetrock/ stucco /brick /etc.In case of new construction iron installation rough opening must be ready as specified on invoice or paperwork provided; otherwise $ 300 trip fee will be charged and installation will have to be rescheduled.
Houston Monterrey Door reserves the right to refuse any customer or any order placed by any customer for any reason.
Colors, patterns, and sizes may vary slightly due to the characteristics of handmade products.
Actual door color may vary from the images shown for various reasons, including: (i) our doors are hand-made; (ii) monitor or mobile display capabilities will vary resulting in customers seeing colors differently based on the particular device they are using to access this Site; and (iii) lighting conditions at the time a photograph of a door was taken will affect the image’s color. As such, Houston Monterrey Door cannot guarantee that the color you see on this Site depicts the color of the door that is shipped to you.
Houston Monterrey Door does not warrant that the products it sells will comply with all of the state and local laws applicable to your particular locale. It is your responsibility to review the relevant laws and regulations pertaining to your community before placing an order with us.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT/ CHOICE OF LAW/ ARBITRATION
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Houston Monterrey Door. Any and all disputes arising out of, relating to or concerning these Terms and Conditions or your use of our Site, will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA and shall be decided in binding arbitration by a single arbitrator in accordance with the Rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any arbitration proceedings shall be held in Texas, USA. The arbitration proceedings, as well as any evidence submitted or exchanged as part of the proceedings, will be kept confidential. Judgment upon any award of the arbitrator may be entered by, and enforced in, any court having competent jurisdiction.
If any part of these Terms and Conditions are invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall govern such use.
LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY / INDEMNITY
Houston Monterrey Door is not liable for any loss or damages resulting from the improper installation, care or usage of products purchased, including, but not limited to, product misuse or abuse, product modification, improper product selection, and non-compliance with any applicable codes. Instructions for the proper installation of our products can be found on this page under “Installation Guide.” Instructions for the proper cleaning of our products can be found in our web.
Under no circumstances, shall Houston Monterrey Door’s liability for any product purchased exceed an amount equal to the lesser of: (a) the actual damages incurred by you as a direct result of any defect in the design or manufacture of the purchased product; or (b) the total amount paid by you to Houston Monterrey Door for the product.
Items purchased from Houston Monterrey Door are shipped through a third-party carrier. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to any product during the shipping process. The risk of loss for items purchased pass to you upon Houston Monterrey Door tendering the item to the carrier. You can learn more about our shipping policy on this page under “Shipping Policy and Deliveries.”
You agree to indemnify and hold Houston Monterrey Door harmless from and against any and all liability claims, losses, costs, and expenses, including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and legal costs, arising from the improper installation, usage or care of any products purchased from Houston Monterrey Door or resulting from any violation by you of these Terms and Conditions.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Houston Monterrey Door may revise or update these Terms and Conditions at any time at its sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this Site. You confirm your acceptance of any revisions and updates by continuing to use the Site.
WARRANTY POLICY
Houston Monterrey Door warrants for a period of one (1) year after the initial delivery/pick-up/Installation date of your purchase that the paint on our artisanal iron doors will not peel or blister, or otherwise fail, due to our workmanship. Houston Monterrey Door further warrants for a period of six (6) years after the initial delivery/pick-up/ date of your purchase that the welds on its doors are of good workmanship and free of defects that would render its doors unfit for their ordinary, recommended use. This warranty is subject to the limitations and restrictions set forth herein. Please review this Warranty Policy in full before placing an order.
Our Warranty Policy covers the cost of repairs up to and including five-hundred dollars ($500) for any doors sold that are covered under Houston Monterrey Door Warranty Policy and confirmed by Houston Monterrey Door to be of substandard workmanship. This warranty coverage is not per incident, but rather for aggregate, total costs of all repairs claimed by you. You will be responsible for the costs of repairs after the five-hundred dollars ($500) coverage is exhausted.
Normal wear and tear, including aging and wear resulting from exposure to natural elements and frequent use natural process, is an inevitable, materials such as weather-stripping/ door sweep and is not covered under our Warranty Policy. Houston Monterrey door’s products are hand-forged and individually finished in our factory. As such, minor differences in like products are not only normal and to be expected,but intended in order to achieve the “hand-forged” appearance of our products. These minor differences are not defects covered under our Warranty Policy. Products specifically listed for sale “as is” on this Site are not covered under our Warranty Policy. Locks on our doors are not covered under our Warranty Policy. For any defects or other problems with locks, you should contact the manufacturer of the lock directly. Glass used in our doors is not covered under our Warranty Policy.
Houston Monterrey Door sells its products, including its standard insulated doors and windows, all over the USA. For customers living in areas subject to extreme variations in weather we recommend purchasing our Thermal Break feature, which will prevent the interior side of the door from freezing/ icing up during the winter months and help keep the blistering heat out during the summer.
Coverage under our Warranty Policy is subject to the proper installation, usage and care of the products purchased. Improper or negligent installation, care or usage is not covered under our Warranty Policy. Bubbling paint, marks, scratches, or bowing occurring around the lock area are problems caused by, and a sign of, improper installation. Although Houston Monterrey Door iron doors and windows are galvanized, we do not recommend direct exposure to water. Washing a door or window with a garden hose constitutes improper care and will void your warranty.
Damage incurred during the shipping and delivery process is not covered under our Warranty Policy. Houston Monterrey Door takes great care to inspect and to securely package our products to protect them against scratches and other marks during the shipment process, but our products are shipped through a third-party carrier and we cannot warrant that your purchase will be delivered undamaged.
Upon delivery, if you do not intend to immediately install your door, you should store it indoors in a dry location, away from the elements (sun, rain). You should also keep in-place the padding the door was shipped with until you are ready to begin installation. Failure to properly store your door after delivery will void your warranty.

SHIPPING POLICY AND DELIVERIES
At Houston Monterrey Door LLC. (“Houston Monterrey Door”) our mission is to provide customers with superior quality artisanal iron doors. windows and related products we design, manufacture and sell.
SHIPPING PROCESS
At the time you place your order, please review and confirm that all of the details of your order are accurate, including your delivery address. You will be responsible for any additional delivery charges or expenses resulting from inaccuracies in your order. Shipping will not commence until payment due for the full balance clears.
After you place your order, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing either a tracking number for your purchase or a phone number for the shipping carrier. The tracking number will be active within twenty-four (24) hours. Please note that if we are experiencing a high volume of orders, there may be a short delay in the shipment process. If there will be a significant delay (more than seventy-two (72) hours) in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email. Please note that a delay of up to sixty (60) days for custom-made doors can occur. Houston Monterrey Door is not responsible for any shipping delays resulting from factors out of its immediate control, such as ship or truck break-downs.
The shipping carrier will contact you directly to schedule the delivery. You will be responsible for any costs or fees, including storage fees, resulting from your failure to take delivery of the shipped product on the date and time the delivery is scheduled.
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping charges and an estimate of the delivery charges will be calculated and displayed before you finalize your order. Shipping and delivery costs are paid in advance with your order. There is no cash on delivery. You do not need to pay these charges to the shipping carrier at the time of delivery, as Houston Monterrey Door will pay these charges and costs directly to the shipping carrier. Any additional payments, including any gratuities, you make to the shipping carrier or its agents will be at your discretion and will not be refunded by Houston Monterrey Door under any circumstances.
Houston Monterrey Door is not responsible for any custom fees or taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are your responsibility.
DELIVERIES
Please note that most of our products are larger than the standard lift-gate and the weight of our iron doors is substantial. Neither a fork-life or a lift gate will be provided. As such, the shipping carrier will make a curbside delivery. It is recommended that you have a minimum of at least four (4) able-bodied persons and the proper tools to move the product, and all of the parts and pieces thereof, to a secure location prior to installation. It is also recommended that each frame and panel be carried separately to avoid damage.
In the event you cannot immediately install your iron door, you should store it in a dry location, safe from the elements to prevent damage. We recommend you keep in-place the padding the door was shipped with until you are ready to begin installation.
LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY/ RISK OF LOSS
Although Houston Monterrey Door takes great care to inspect and to securely package our products to protect them against scratches and other marks during the shipment process, we cannot guarantee that your purchase will be delivered undamaged. Little scratches are not uncommon, but you should not worry as we provide a touch-up kit with all of our doors. Items purchased from Houston Monterrey Door are shipped through a third-party carrier. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to any product during the shipping process. The risk of loss for any item purchased passes to you upon Houston Monterrey Door tendering the item to the carrier.
At the time of, and before accepting, delivery of the product, please thoroughly check the packaging for any signs of damage during the shipping process. Immediately note any damage on the packaging on your delivery receipt or bill of laden. Our packaging is not waterproof, so note if the packaging is damp. Packaging itself should be opened immediately upon delivery and the product should be checked for damage that could have occurred during shipping and delivery, including for water damage, or any differences between the product you ordered and the product delivered (color, etc.).
Promptly report any damage or problems to Houston Monterrey Door by telephone or in writing within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery. Please hold the product and the container it was shipped in until we can complete our investigation and provide a resolution.
RESTRICTIONS ON DELIVERIES
Houston Monterrey Door currently does not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
RETURN POLICY
Houston Monterrey Door LLC. (“Houston Monterrey Door”) stands behind the quality of all the products we sell. If for any reason you are unsatisfied, we will accept returns provided the following terms and conditions are met:
* The returned product must be sent within two (2) calendar days of the confirmed delivery date.
* You must notify us in advance of any intended returns. Returned products sent without our prior knowledge will be refused and no refund given.
* The returned product must be received in the same condition in which it was initially shipped.
* All returned products must be insured through your shipping carrier. No refunds will be issued for products damaged during shipping. Any claims for damages incurred during shipping must be made with the carrier. You can learn more about our shipping policy on this page under “Shipping Policy and Deliveries.”
* Shipping and delivery fees are not refundable, including the cost of return shipping. Products purchased with a credit card are assessed a three percent (3%) processing fee, which is also not refundable. These fees will be deducted from any refund.
* Returns are subject to a twenty five percent (25%) re-stocking fee, which will be deducted from any refund.
* There are no returns of any custom-made products, including doors custom-made at the customer’s request.
